THE 312th United States Army Band

   

The 312th Army band schedules 15-25 performances each year and has performed for the Kansas City Royals, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Oakland A’s, the National Boy Scout Jamboree, the Kansas Music Educator’s Association, the Texas Bandmaster’s Association, and the National Convention of the Association of the United States Army.

Featuring Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty who starred in the stage show The Official Blues Brothers Revival, written by Victor Pisano. Produced by Judy Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, it ran successfully in Chicago in the spring and summer of 2004. Performing with the trademark passion and precision of the original Blues Brothers, The “OFFICIAL BLUES BROTHERS REVUE” starring Jake, Elwood and “The Intercontinental Rhythm & Blues Revue Band” strike the right balance of humor, music and mayhem that has kept audiences captivated worldwide for decades.  ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTES. Eight of the nation's most talented young tap dancers take to the stage in this rousing, joyous celebration of American youth culture. New York Stage Originals' "TAP KIDS" takes tap dance to new heights while telling the story of a group of teenagers during their last months at school as they come to terms with teenage love, their first big dance, graduation and pending adulthood. Complete with dancing on lunch trays in the cafeteria, drama at the school dance, mischief in detention and finally graduation as they are launched into their futures with all their hopes and dreams ahead of them.

GLENN HENRIKSEN

 

CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS

Glenn Henriksen is an accomplished, versatile pianist and organist. He began piano lessons at age seven, and continued through high school. At age thirteen he became the organist at his hometown church. Glenn attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and received further musical instruction. In
the years following, he has played for a wide variety of events, including solo piano and organ concerts, church services, weddings, funerals, receptions and other social activities. Glenn's repertoire includes
classical, ragtime, blues and jazz, standards, pop and rock, country, Latin, gospel, and sacred. Glenn's lifetime experience in many musical genres has enabled him to develop a unique musical style, resulting in one-of-a-kind improvised arrangements.

How about carhops, the twist, hula hoops and Buddy Holly? Well, the '50s aren’t just a thing of the past… Today “Rave On!” Productions presents an electrifying show paying homage to rock n’ roll’s immortal legend - Buddy Holly.  Whether in a theater setting or with a full symphony orchestra, “Rave On!” has performed to sold out crowds locally and nationally…the impact of the music will make a lasting impression on audiences of all ages! This show has received attention and critical acclaim from reviewers and audience members all over the United States.
